Wilhelm Spang founded our company in 1912, which until today continues as a family concern. In those early years we produced various ceramic commodities for the everyday use like butter-coolers and evaporators.

After 1945 the entire production was adapted to the manufacture of flower pots. One of the biggest challenges, but also a big chance, in that era was to keep up with the rapid progress of the technical developments during
the time of Germany's economic miracle.

Ongoing perpetual rebuildings, improvements and changes have been constantly altering the company's appearance. Gradual purchases of adjoining sites allowed the company to grow to a great extent at its place of origin.

Unfortunately the constant alteration of the company has left little evidence from the early days, but, this does not detract from the accomplishments of our ancestors, as they established the foundation of today's international success of Spang Corp.
