Our clays

Natural

The traditional clay color: the evergreen for more than 100 years. The mixture of red firing Westerwald and lean clays causes the characteristic vermillion firing color and the perfect porosity for the growth of the plants.

Antique

our recipe for the mediterranean look in your garden. This look is achieved by mixing cream and red-firing Westerwälder clays, adding a mineral substance which tends to natural efflorescences. The more thick-walled the produced containers are the more the welcomed efflorescences occur.

Marbled

one of our formulas for success: this is a light colored clay mixture. During production this clay material mixes with a lighter colored mineralic slurry which effects the individual, marbled optic. Each pot is unique!

Umbra

The dark colored clay mixture is perfectly suited for natural stone or wooden surfaces. The earthen grey coloration of the clay allows the plant to shine – the pot remains discreet in the background. This material is also the basis for our guarantor of success: basalt.

Basalt

adding an anthracite colored marble effect to the grey umbra clay makes the pots more elegant and unique. These items are suited for usage outdoor, or if treated to be waterproof, fit in with modern living accessories.

Granit

sought-after novelty: the white to light grey Granit is being processed to our own recipe of white clay from this area. The noble, porcelain like planters are complimenting perfectly the dark umbra and basalt series.
