Whistleblowing System

Only when rules and standards are complied with can we prevent harm to our company and our customers. 

The whistleblowing system (in accordance with the German Whistleblower Protection Act – HinSchG) enables employees to report potential violations of laws and regulations as well as breaches of internal policies that have either already occurred or are very likely to occur. In addition, we guarantee the greatest possible protection for whistleblowers, affected persons, and those involved in investigating the report. Furthermore, our whistleblowing system places great importance on fairness – both in dealing with whistleblowers and with persons affected by an allegation. The principle of proportionality is always observed, and in each individual case it is examined which measures are appropriate, necessary, and reasonable. 

If you become aware of such violations in connection with Spang, you may submit them via the contact form. The receipt and further processing of the reports are handled by an external, neutral, and qualified intermediary. This ensures that the anonymity of the whistleblower can be preserved. Providing a means of contact is mandatory. Spang is not legally obliged to follow up on anonymous reports.

Examples of reports that do not constitute reports within the meaning of the HinSchG:

  • Reports regarding the performance of the company’s products/services
  • Any kind of reports concerning (personal as well as political) views and opinions
