For more than 100 years, SPANG has been manufacturing ceramic plant pots in the Westerwald. Today, we are a fourth-generation family business with 160 employees, combining generations of ceramic know-how with modern industrial production.

At SPANG, the know-how to turn ceramic raw materials into high-quality plant pots has been passed down from generation to generation. For us, quality means applying this experience throughout the entire manufacturing process – from raw material preparation to the finished pot – and maintaining consistently high production standards at every stage.
Our approach to quality also begins with the materials we use and where we source them. Our production site in the Westerwald is located close to one of Europe’s most important ceramic clay regions, allowing us to source our clays regionally and process them directly at our site.

UOur connection to the Westerwald goes beyond our production site. The proximity of our clay suppliers keeps transport routes short, while ceramic production residues are processed and returned to our production cycle. By manufacturing in the Westerwald, we also contribute to the regional economy.
