At SPANG, Made in Germany represents more than 100 years of experience in ceramic manufacturing. In the heart of the Westerwald, we make our flowerpots close to the source of their most important raw materials – rooted in the region, with short transport routes and generations of ceramic know-how.

We have been manufacturing flower pots in the Westerwald for more than 100 years. This is where our roots are – and where our knowledge of ceramic plant pots has been passed down from one generation to the next. Today, we continue this tradition as a fourth-generation family business.
From clay to finished pot
From raw clay to the packaged flower pot, every stage of production takes place at our site in the Westerwald. Clay preparation, moulding, drying, firing, finishing and packaging – we manage the entire process in-house. This allows us to maintain consistent quality at every stage.
Versatility for every setting
From classic terracotta to modern shapes, colours and distinctive surfaces, our range offers a wide variety of ceramic plant pots for indoors and outdoors – from living spaces to balconies, patios and gardens.
Quality made to last
Our plant pots combine generations of ceramic know-how with high manufacturing standards and timeless design. Careful production and consistent quality standards are at the heart of every SPANG pot.
Regional resources. Closed production loops
Our clays are sourced within a maximum radius of 30 kilometres from our production site. Within our manufacturing process, ceramic production residues – from soft clay to already fired pots – are processed and returned to the production cycle. 100% of our ceramic production residues are reused in this way. Our process water is also kept in a closed loop.
Solar power and energy management
We have been generating solar power at our production site since 2007. Today, our photovoltaic systems have a total installed capacity of more than 1 MWp. Since 2013, our systematic energy management system has helped us monitor energy consumption and identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency
